Jody Halter, CMP, DMCP, Vice President, Sales & Marketing 

A native of New Orleans, Jody began her career in the hospitality industry in 1981. Her love for the city's unique history and culture and the growing tourism industry inspired her to join one of the few companies at that time providing services to both convention and leisure markets. After several dedicated years of service with them, Jody was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing where she coordinated and directed the efforts of various sales teams and developed strategies to increase business. Promoted again to Vice President and General Manager, her responsibilities included overseeing the convention and leisure divisions with an emphasis on producing major association and corporate programs and events.

After 22 years in the industry, Jody joined ACCENT to expand the DMC division, which focuses on producing special events and guest programs for association, corporate and incentive meetings. Jody is actively involved in several professional organizations. She is a member of PCMA and MPI and has served on committees for the New Orleans Conventions and Visitors Bureau, PCMA, ADME and HENA. Jody's main focus is soliciting business for ACCENT, along with handling client relations and proposal creation and development.

Jody has two sons, dabbles in photography and is always honing her culinary skills. She is on a constant search for new things to try and searches for opportunities to meet new people. She has enjoyed building relationships with clients, and feels lucky to be working with such a great team.
